Description So today I once again come to you with an excuse, but I just got home, despite not having worked overtime, and am at an end of my strength for the day. This is a lovely commission once again from 12Animefan21 and I have to thank him soooo much for being available to be used as a scapegoat at times like this. I promised a post every weekday for this month, and thanks to him, I can keep my promise.

By the by, don't be shy to commission yourselves, just reach out to me.

Let me tell you a story about my best friend, Chris. Chris is a great guy, who'd give everything for his friends, even change his entire life
for them. This next story I'm about to tell you about is actually supposed to have been the happiest day of my life, but ultimately turned
into his happiest day as well.

It was on a beautiful spring day, when me and my long time fiance had our long awaited wedding. The location was scenic, a small
church in the countryside, with the reception held at a castle nearby. Especially beautiful was the garden we held the actual reception
party at, but let's not skip that far ahead, shall we?

On location the church door was almost ten feet tall, the whole structure weathered, almost as if it was built god only knows how many
centuries ago, even though it was built in a Neo-Gothic style not even fifty years ago. It looked like a miniature version of the Notre
Dame of Amiens, or so | was told. Like a 1:5 size ratio, and it was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.

But the wedding was the really important event that day: | stood there at the entrance of the church, looking on as the people slowly
took their places in the rows of seats and the beautiful flower ornaments that were placed all around just made the whole athmosphere
even nicer. | loved the way it all looked, and this was thirty minutes before start, | wasn't even wearing my wedding dress yet, and | had
to return to the small room next to the entrance to get ready, but something was off: Emily, my best friend since kindergarten wasn't
there.

"What happened to Emily?" | asked, and everyone just shrugged. Soon enough | talked to her over the phone and turns out: She broke
her leg and couldn't come. "Aw shit, now what am | supposed to do? What will the bride do without her bridesmaid?"

All of a sudden | heard a knock at the door and when we allowed them in, Chris happened to peek in and smiled right at my dumbstruck Al
face, trying to figure out what to do.

"What's wrong, Nadine?" He asked me, and looking up at him, | saw his worried facial expression, which then reminded me of how
much he's done for me in the past when we were back in middle school, even dressing up as a girl for my sake on an occasion. Let's
not even talk about that. "Is something wrong?"

"Chris, | need to talk to you real quick." | told him, and walked him out to the back where we stopped under a tree and | finally turned to
him with tears in my eyes. "Chris, we have a problem. My bridesmaid is missing, and the wedding is about to begin in just ten minutes.
Can you save me?"

"Umm... Well, I'd love to, but | came alone. | don't even have a partner to drop in as a backup plan." he said, but his eyes soon popped
open, as the realization hit him. "Wait, you're not going to dress me up as a bridesmaid, are you?"

"No! | mean... | have a means to help the dressing up part for you to seamlessly fit in, but... Only if you're willing to undergo some
magical transformation.” | admitted the truth and then shortly explained that | was a descendant of a long line of powerful witches. He
did make wide eyes, but didn't really say anything to deny me the help. "Can you please do me just this one last favor?”

"Err... Well, you know what they say, this is what friends are for, right?" he said and gave me a hug. "So, what do | need to do?"

"Take this bouquet, and walk down the aisle in the church. Leave the rest to the magic." | told him, and handed him the bouquet. He
nodded and rushed off.

When people looked up that day as Chris walked in with a bouquet in his hands, as he passed more and more windows, as the light
from outside fell on him, slowly but surely he was changing from the healthy, strong young man, to a medium height, beautifully dressed
young woman in a purple and white dress, the bouquet in her hand, her regal, noble beauty decorating the entire room with every step,
and it was almost as if she was the bride herself, she arrived in all her majesty in front of the altar, taking her place as just the
bridesmaid. The best man across from her was actually David's, my fiance's best friend and also single, like Chris himself, so he sure
made wide eyes seeing her. Thus the actual ceremony began, and at the end of it we were celebrated as newly weds, and Chris, or
should | call her Melody, which was her cover name when she dressed up as a girl when she was a guy, followed us with Aiden, the
Best Man arms linked and clearly they were quite attracted to each other.

After the wedding and the reception was over | went to look for Melody who was still talking to Aiden and the two of them actually
exchanged numbers before parting ways.

"Well, did you have fun, Melody?" | asked her, and with her adorably shy smile she nodded. "Ready to turn back into Chris now?"
"Wait... Ummm... Listen, Nadine, can we talk about this turning back thing?" she suddenly grabbed my hand and stopped me from
casting the reversal spell. "| think | don't want to return to being Chris anymore."

"How come?" | asked shocked, but also relieved, seeing her earnest and happy smile. "I thought you'd want to."

"Well, had you asked me an hour ago, maybe | would've said yes." She said, shunning her eyes and fiddling with her fingers. "But
now... Now that | know Aiden, I've started having doubts about wanting to go back to being a guy. | think | fell head over heels for him as
soon as | saw him, and | think the feeling's mutual.”

Can you even say no to a happy confession like that? No, of course not. | told her I'd allow her to remain as Melody for another month,
and if she's still happy the way she is, the spell will be finalized. You should've seen her smile that moment. She was so happy, and so
adorable. So much in love.

Now it has been a year since then, and today we're celebrating Aiden and Melody's wedding. She's so beautiful when she's this happy,
and | couldn't be any happier for her either.
