Heh, the color also helps, I'd say. For the record, she and my other childhood crush (Makoto Kino AKA Sailor Jupiter) were voiced by the same actress in Latin America.

Heh, yeah, in the first anime I really wanted to give her ex a good beating for dumping her. Seriously, if she existed in the real world, I'd definitely love to date a girl like her. Even though back when I was a kid there was still that stereotype of boys not liking girls who were taller/stronger/better-at-something than them, I would have gladly asked her out and to hell what anybody said about it. I've heard that one single quality can overshadow many flaws, and she's got plenty of them: beautiful, great at cooking and housework, more than capable of defending herself (which for me is a plus because I'm not exactly very strong), and as long as you don't get on her bad side, she's a total sweetie.
