I know, lamest title ever.

This is a follow up to, "Mostly Treats". I do have a thought for a third part, but since it's already Halloween, I doubt I'll make it. I can try, but I seriously doubt it. Sorry.

So here we have Wolf as a gunslinger/outlaw, and Lucy as a saloon girl. While they're not dressed as any character or person in particular, it kind of goes along with the adult couple-costumes theme.

It also kind of goes along with the somewhat subtle features these characters have. Falco has an Italian surname, and in recent games he has...to be frank, a Guido kind of persona. And although Wolf has an Irish surname, he was given a voice in Brawl that seemed to have a southern drawl (were there Irish cowboys? I'll have to look into that)...and I always imagined Peppy as an aging, wise cowboy, so it works for Lucy, too. I was actually wondering if a "Southern Belle" look would have been better for her, but...since those Halloween costumes almost always have a short skirt, I was afraid she'd end up looking like Little Bo Peep.

My very first idea, though, was to dress these two up as Belle and the Beast...but, somehow, the Western theme kind of works. In a way, the StarFox universe is like a romanticized, technological advanced version of the Wild West...with no authority strong enough to control it, it runs wild with ruffians, desperate for money. And it's up to heroes-for-hire, the few with honor, to straighten them out...if I were working on this series, I would totally take that approach.

(But yeah...maybe a Disney crossover next year )

Once again, the girl in the picture (by my standards) looks pretty awesome, the guy just looks okay. I didn't think I'd struggle so much with Wolf...maybe because I couldn't quite get the pose I wanted. He's supposed to be tipping his hat to Lucy, but...how can an anthro even wear a hat like that? Also, cowboy hats are hard, so I'm sorry his hat looks so stupid.

Well...Happy Halloween anyway!
