mnja. now i see how my audience may be confused about the message. but this is devart so i can explain myself at will and as longwindedly was i please. these are self portraits, taken in a completely dark room using an slr cam, iso400 b&w film, and a flash. i decided that i'd rather look startled and unpretty in my self-portraits than posed and cute.....if that's possible (i have stick-my-tongue-out reflex when my pic is taken). the delayed flash and dark room seemed well-serving for this purpose but somehow my eyes still glitter with anticipation of the shot rather than with that spark only a candid shot offers. anyway, i love my hoodie.
