I've heard of Kid Icarus before Brawl.
I have seen Captain N The Game Master which has him in it.
Hell I have both Kid Icarus games on the emulator.
I have Uprising on the 3DS.
Also
THERES A KID ICARUS GAME ON THE GAMEBOY, he's not just on the NES and 3DS..
Look on Ebay if you want proof.
Or on a rom site.
The gameboy one came out in 1991.
