Syria took in a deep breath. Home. She was finally home, yet a burden had been lifted from her shoulders as she talked to Baram. It was clear sign for her and with steady talk a decision had been made. Syria would be dropping from Peacemaker and will be spending time to care for herself and find something better suited for her, and less damaging to her mind. Another steady breath and finally the tears begin to fall, oh gods where did it all go wrong? Why did it have to be like this? Syria felt a failure, she had messed up everything she had gotten her hooves on, why? Why? WHY? Can't something go right? Was she too selfish? Had she be tarnished by the ways of others? Syria didnt know, but still the tears fell, like a damn being broken. Chest was tight and she wanted to scream, wanted to feel anything then what she was currently feeling. What had she become? Someone she cant stand the sight of. A reflection she wont dare to look at. It was sickening how much in the end she hated herself. Shaking her head and another steady breath, she used her gift. She could feel her body want to scream rebel against it. But instead her heart rate began to slow, her tears suddenly stopped and a calm eerie demeanor took hold. "Just for a little bit." she told herself. She just needed it to last going home, and once behind doors she can allow her emotions to pour out, but for now? Pretend. Its okay to pretend that everything is okay for now.
