Well, I'm kinda happy about how this lil' mech is going in the Steel Nation tournament so I thought I would commemorate it by making a little model. I took a bunch of pictures and couldn't decide on the best ones so...I put just about all of them up ^^Also, this is the only colour picture of the pseudo, so I thought it was high time I put these pics up, just in case one of my opponents wants to do their entry in colour ^^
Luckily I had a few little bits of scenery lying around to put in the background.
The model is made of super sculpey and painted with citadel paints. It's about 4 inches high.

well..the only place that sells super sculpey down here is birchalls..so any art store should have it. Fimo is also a good option, very simmilar and a bit more durable.
This model took like...a night or two to make and a night to paint, although I wasn't spending the whole time donig it XD

Cool, I'll look into it. Yeah when I did it I used what was called Model Magic. It was great to model with but I found out it was way too frail for the detail I used for some models.
That's still pretty good. Especially the amount of detail that has gone into it. Hehe, still so cool.
It looks very professional. It really fits in well with the WarHammer set up. Almost expect to see him on the battlefield.

well, if you've seen stuff like the titans and biotitans and ork stompas and such, those were originally from a small scale battlegame called epic. A person would be something like 3mm tall and a large titan would be about the size of a dreadnaught for 40K. It was pretty fun but finally died somewhere in the late 90's
It would probably be on the Eldar side...it looks a bit Eldarish XD

apparently the tau having large mecha is a big no no from games workshop. Its weird because I always imagined them having large gundam style things XD

thanks XD For some reason I just assumed I was going to eventually fight you. I was shocked when you lost! I had even planned the fight out and everything XD Round three is going to be very hard, there's not much I can do to wow people when up against a cg artist 0__0
