Photoshop but there are lots of cheap free softwares that does the job, just as good.

Get GIMP its Photoshops littlebro they really have improved it a lot.

You catched that vibe  and I thought immediately at the big scull entrance (the hideout of LeChuck )  and  those isles  

Just think of a Guybrush and a LeChuck as an emote and place it in your pic  ~ it would work
