Fortunately, this one was a competition between all of the community colleges in Illinois (or at least Northern Illinois), so I did not have to pay - each school selected between one and three works to represent them. I still didn't win though.

That's good. They always feel like a big scam when there's an entry fee.
Anywho. I've been good. I've got a son now. Not sure if you've read my latest journal, but I covered some happenings there. I'm also moving back to central IL around the middle of June. Not really looking forward to taking that trip with a newborn, but I don't really want to wait 2 years to move. lol

Half of my family was out of the loop! My aunt didn't even know until I was 8 months along. @.@ I did tell some of them though, so I'm not sure how that happened really.
Yes, actually. I'll be moving into my grandmother's old house. It's going to be odd living in a place that I used to sleep over at. lol
Thank you. I'm surprised how much..I'm like my own mother. It's odd because I understand her motivations much more now that I have my own family. Of course I'd never tell her that. But overall I'm enjoying it.
