Description Her name isn't actually that, but it's how I refer to her in writing
Well, in Japanese, her name is Jun... so it's close!

Obviously, she is half of June Snow.

It doesn't do her justice....
She's so pretty and awesome...
And this is... ehk!

Six hours with charcoal, Micron pen, and mechanical pencil... I got lazy with the neck, though

Haha, well thanks I guess
It's just been a long time since I've one a portrait... I used to have more portraits up than photography! But then I deleted most of them because I didn't like them.

Well I left a few... I'll go find them to save you the trouble
Hold on... as if you will even notice my absence

Yoshioka Miho, the incredibly beautiful Japanese model who led me to the scenery of Tokyo and set in stone my desire to travel there: [link]

I-Yena, the amazing artist who inspired me to stay on this website: [link]

Utada Hikaru, the weaver of beautiful words and melodies that kept me alive at several stages in my life: [link]

And a penguin: [link]

There were more, but they are being stored in the deviation management thing or in my scraps because I hated them just too much.

It's so beautiful! You did a very nice job, it almost looks like a real picture! My cousin's name is Jun, she's from Japan too... ^_^ What kind of paper do you use?

Thank you very much!
That's cool, which kanji does she use for her name?
I just use recycled sketch paper... I know it would look alot better if I used the smooth bristol (which I have a notebook of), but I dunno... just a habit, I guess

You're welcome! ^_^ Which kanji? I'm not sure actually... I don't really know a lot of japanese and the only kanji I know is my own name. -_-''
Wow, recycled sketch paper? Proves you can do a great job on anything!

Oh wait wait! I looked at your page and discovered that it is "Natsuko", which would be 夏子, no? Summerchild
Strange, since you were not born in Summer

Actually, it is 菜津子! You know your japanese well though... haha, weird right? I actually got my name from the ancient japanese city of Nara, and my mom's name... it ended up being summerchild, and my parents liked it and kept it!

Well, the first character means "greens" (like vegetation) and the second means... harbour? (I had to look that one up... though I think it's also the first character in tsunami)
So your name is... Child harbour greens? Haha, well whatever I'm just too literal I guess
Very interesting, though!

Oooo, what is your name?
Hehe, it's just that's it's the only thing I've used for art in my life... well that, computer paper, and recycled watercolour paper...
