1) NaruHina/NaruSaku- These two pairings are two of the most horrendous pairing fandoms I've ever had the displeasure of being in. The pairings themselves have their positive points and negative points like the fanbase. The only difference is that the pairings are harmless while the fanbase is beyond insane at times. Well most are. Not all. At least Naruto never had to pry the two from each other to keep them from fighting over him.

They're both the most infamous pairing fanbases I've ever seen to guarantee the #1 spot. Both have been at each other's throats for years. Both screaming like crazy about how much both girls are perfect for the main character. Then we get the whole Kushina mess which is really stupid. Kushina tells Naruto to marry a girl like her. Then you have everyone coming up with why both girls were like Kushina. I find that rather disturbing. .~. Why would you marry a girl like your mother? Besides, Naruto doesn't really know his mother all that much. I believe Naruto chose someone who would for sure love him back, not because some girl was like his mother.

Both sides are rather mean-sprited in terms of the others. Let's start with NaruHina. Ever since the couple became canon, NaruHina fans have become slightly less aggressive over time. When this became an official couple, I found it rather annoying how these fans would spam things like "LOL your pairing isn't canon! Stop drawing/writing fanfics of a fantasy. Like it had a chance! LOL! NaruHina is the best pairing ever and if you like NaruSaku, you're a moron who can't let things go!". As much as I like the pairing, the constant bragging was a turn off to the point where even I started to hate it at some point. I still like it, just not the fans that can't handle that people still ship it and harass them about it.

Now I don't see it as often anymore thank god.

As for NaruSaku, some of you probably have heard about the petition that failed thank god. They can't handle criticism of their pairing either. Ever since NaruHina because canon, they've bothered the ever loving heck out of the creator for it. I may not agree with some of the choices he's made, like what he did with Chouchou, Sasuke, Neji, and Sakura, but I'll respect what he's done and enjoy the things about the series I do like. I won't be a little brat and threaten the man's life! What kind of "fan" are you to do that!? He created these characters, you ungrateful fools! Anyways, a few NaruSaku fans declared that the author only bended towards the NaruHina fans for one reason: that they begged him and he decided to carter to their will. If that was the case, how come Neji and Hinata weren't a thing at some point before his death? NejiHina was extremely popular in Japan after all.

Anyways these are mainly the two fandoms do. Not every single one of them, but some of them.

2) Harry x Hermione (Harry Potter)- Ron x Hermione wasn't well received. .~. It's probably one of the least well received pairings I've ever laid eyes on. I've actually seen a lot of HXH fans get furious that both Harry and Hermione got together with a Weasely. I've only seen minimal support for Ginny while it seemed like everyone hated that Ron got Hermione. People wrote death threats and complained about Harry and Hermione never got together. It was madness.

3) SasuIno/SasuSaku- Wasn't as bad when Shippuden started. As a matter of fact, did either of these fandoms bump heads anymore in Shippuden? Back in Part 1, boy was it bad. People were slinging insults at the other party and proving info on why one girl was better than the other. Why one being not useless was the more all important reason to be with Sasuke. Why one was pretty than the other and so on. Kinda like NaruHina and NaruSaku's fandom, but without it being as crazy and it was less about interaction.

3) Mystery girl x Pearl- Probably bad enough to rival Rose x Pearl. If you ship Pearl with someone else, it's not treated as bad. Now Mystery Girl? For some reason, even if it's stated as a joke, gets people riled up BAD. I've seen less of a fuss over Sapphire/Ruby with someone else in the rare times I've seen it. .~.

It's amazing how this show is about accepting people as they are, friendship, and love yet the fanbase is one of the most toxic out there. Why is every show that's about all the things I've listed have such a mean-spirited fanbase that either can't take a joke or get vicious if you don't like someone or ship two people together as if it's against the law?

4) Flame Princess/Princess Bubblegum x Finn- Suffers the same as #1 except FP fans tend to get a lot more nastier than PB fans or at least that's how it used to be. It's been a while. Pretty much FP fans would not be very pleasant towards PB fans in terms of Finn.

5) Starco- It apparently became worse when Marco dated a girl named Jackie. Starco fans became enraged and a lot of them went on violent war marches to tell off every Marco x Jackie fan. Okay maybe that's exaggerating. However they have been going around pouting about it. That's what I've been told.

From what I've seen looking around, yes they do act very vulgar. Not all, just some.
