It started with a glance.
Walking down the hall, Katla could see that Kodlak, whom she'd come to see, was deep in discussion with another man. She hesitated, not wanting to interrupt, and still uncertain of her decision to ask to join the Companions. Truth be told, she didn't consider herself much of a warrior, surviving mostly on luck, stealth, and wit more than real skill. Still, as a Nord, she'd be damned if she'd ever admit to a lack of courage; besides, this seemed like an opportunity that might allow her to hone the skills she'd need to survive in Skyrim during wartime… as well as potentially affording her someone to watch her back. She was thoroughly tired of being alone.
Alone.
While she'd been selective in her friendships, back in Cyrodiil, she'd never considered herself a loner. She'd had a few particularly close friends, and she'd always had the loving support of her parents — a relationship her friends had envied, full of respect and honest enjoyment in each oth

I enjoyed drawing the armour for this one, the complete contrast between the two is nice ^^
That said I managed to fight through a bit of a block with this, so yay me, ever the fighter... uh... maybe not, but still. >v<
