This is a general idea I had for in an RPG Maker VX: ACE game (for anyone really).

The menu would open up and on the right side of the screen woul dbe your menu options (Items, Equipment, etc.) and on the left would be your heroes... Your MAIN hero would always show up first, then on either side of the hero would be other party members...

My idea here would be that you would 'technically' scroll through your hero options. This would obviously be more preferable to games with just 3 heroes in it, but it could work with a fourth hero in it as well, he/she would just be hidden behind the Main hero instead, sort of... As each hero get's pushed off to the back of the hero (or side in this case) then they would 'gray' out (or all color would be removed and they would be colored in grayscale only then).
The hero selected at the time would always be the larger one, the others would be smaller so it would make the appearance that they were 'behind' the selected hero.
There would then be a box (see blue box in image) in the lower portion of the hero that would display their information (HP, MP/SP, EXP, etc.).

Anyone know of an RPG Maker VX: ACE (or RMVX and ACE compatible) script that does this? Or at least comes close to doing it?
