Because favourites are nice, but they don't tell the artist why you like or love their piece of art. A click of a button can't give the personal touch and interaction with the artist that a comment can in my opinion.Dedicated to all those artists that, while they appreciate their favourites, feel like they aren't getting much feedback on their work. I think they deserve it, don't you?

You do have a point. I mostly be putting favoriting people's artwork but I have been putting in more comments in their artwork recently most of them don't have many comments in their work

I do appreciate favourites it means others liked my works but i admit faves with comments are pure gold for me, i love to hear what others liked, what they didn't like ect. I do not force others to comment, they are free to fave without commenting if they don't feel necessity to say something. I personally alway comment before faving because 1) i love to tell artist what caught my interest, 2) to have a precious gem in my Favourite Gallery.

I have a bad habit of not commenting simply because I don't know what to say besides the usual 'awesome work' or something of the like, and when I DO I usually start an argument :/

Usually, I just get people faving my artwork, and I rarely get a comment. It's a bit frustrating when people just fav a bunch of my artwork in a row. It would be nice to get some comments once and a while.

I'm actually cool with just faves, but I would be lying if I say I don't want a decent comment on my works as well. Though, the ones that really riles me up sometimes are the generic ones like "Nice!", "Looks awesome!", "It's amazing!" and the like. While they don't really mean any harm, they aren't really umm... how do I say this? Helpful? It can get frustrating especially when you stated in your description that you need some feedbacks on it.
So hopefully, I'd get through to some people that commenting doesn't really hurt and it helps make someone's day with the use of this stamp.Β Β

Yeah. Alot of people that watch me just fav my stuff and that's it. Like,"Why fave it if you're just gonna glance at it and put it in your faves gallery and never look at it again and forget about it two seconds later?" Its a bit frustrating since they just mindlessly fave my stuff. XD
