Just to be clear, this is NOT Book Eric, and this is not a SVM fanart, it is not fanart at all. It's an illustration based on another character, from another novel. The only thing Raistan has in common with Eric is the blonde hair, that's all

btw: hope you don't mind me asking! What brushes did you use for the bachground (the brighter parts)? it looks painted, i really like that texture!

Thank you very much! I hope the books will be sooner or later translated in English. Hopefully, if they sell well in Italy, that might happen.
Anyway yes, I used some custom brushes for the background, to mimic actual brush strokes. I don't remember exactly, but I might have created these brushes myself. You can find something similar here: www.deviantart.com/art/Velvetc…

This really makes me think of Ash from Kenyon's The Dark Hunter Series. Makes me think of him both when he was human and a Sex slave and when he came into his true godhood and still sold himself to Artemis for the souls of his men and she chains and beats him, this guy in the pic looks just like him. so freaking sad now.

O.O You should really read them they are soooo addictive I've read Ash's book about 10 times and I still find something new each time. [link] look into it promise you wont be disappointed especially if you like Greek god, Vampires, Atlantian Gods, Demons and other goodies all in one place.

It's quite hard to summarize in a few lines, but I'll try: Raistan was born in the late XVII century in the Netherlands and was turned when he was 28 years old by an ancient, fierce Irish vampire lady named Shibeen. Afterwards he had a number of adventures, became a soldier and then a general of the vampire league of the Diurni, fought against a powerful pack of werewolves, lost his best friend, went on a killing spree, then, after WWII, became a mercenary killer under the nickname of Atropos.
In the chapter this illustration is taken from, Raistan is being held and forced to watch while other vampires torture and rape his human protege Ellie, a girl whom he has known since she was a little child, and whom he loves deeply.
