I meant to do something like this for a looong time, though my original vision has changed a lot since Shrek was going to be Ralph, Lilo as Vanellope, Hiccup as Felix, and Merida as Sergeant Calhoun but...something made me feel like changing it.

I chose Eilonwy as Vanellope since she's considered a princess but unfortunately isn't considered an 'official' Disney Princess (likely due to her movie "The Black Cauldron" bombing), and Eilonwy has shown to have bouts of an attitude at times.

I agree with all of them except why would gene be professor oak,
(i am still being respectful of your choices) oak hardly hated anyone, and gene was so afraid of breaking the status quo that he saw Ralph as a bad guy outside of their business hours.

I can't exactly say I remember why I chose this role in the first place. This is a fairly old recast I honestly don't like all that much in hindsight. I'm gonna guess the reason I chose Oak for Gene was because of how Oak would tell you not to do this or that in the game, such as not riding bikes indoors. I feel going for a very typical jerk character would just be too obvious.

This is awesome!! And Eilonwy as Vanellope is a great idea! Eilonwy is one of my fave Disney characters, and I think her as Vanellope is cool!

Well this will work great as a fanfiction parody. And when I say parody, I mean an actual parody instead of a 'copy-n-paste' Wreck-it Ralph script.

Oh, if I ever wrote a fanfiction for this, I'd try as hard as I can to differentiate it from being a copy-paste story, otherwise it'd be terribly boring and unoriginal...

Eilonwy wasn't added into the Princess franchise because the movie was more about Taran than her and she wasn't even his goal as Jasmine was for Aladdin. It has nothing to do with her movie bombing.

Considering it was obvious that King Candy was supposed to pay homage to Ed Wynn (voiced the Mad Hatter), I thought it'd be clever to use the Mad Hatter.
