Description Now we get to the official Disney Princesses and other human/anthro heroines. Because of Merida's inclusion, I planned to include more Pixar characters but it got too cluttered. And I only used characters from theatrical films, no direct-to-sequels.

I placed them not only in chronological order for when their movies came out, I also based them on eras of Disney animation. The top row is the Golden/Silver age, second is the Dark Age, third is the Disney Renaissance, fourth is the Second Dark Age/post-Renaissance, and the fifth is the Second Disney Renaissance (current).

This is a fantastic list. You left a couple out:
Tiger Lily (Peter Pan)
Anita Radcliffe (101 Dalmatians)
Shanti (Jungle Book; yes, she wasn’t fully defined, or named, until Jungle Book 2 but she did appear at the end of that movie so technically counts...barely)
Helga Sinclair/Audrey Ramirez (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
Abby Mallard “Ugly Duckling” (Chicken Little)
Sgt. Calhoun (Wreck-it Ralph)

I stuck with the chronological order, and (even though you added Sally and Jessica Rabbit; I did see you mentioned not using Pixar too much to avoid making the list too long, so I kept most of those out as well) I didn’t know if including Roxanne from A Goofy Movie made sense or not but I assumed no.

Lilo in Hufflepuff, huh? In a certain artists profile the person also has this series of Disney characters sorted into their Hogwarts houses and the artist chose Slytherin for Lilo. Nani, however, is still a Gryffindor.

Lilo's tricky that way because she has traits where I can see her fit in nearly every house.

Yeah. But, you sorted her into Hufflepuff, though. Well, maybe because she was kind and patient with Stitch throughout the original movie, despite that he was kind of a jerk. And after Nani told her "We have to take him back!" and Lilo was like "What about Ohana?!" and "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind.", which made Nani change her mind and let Stitch stay. Not only that. Lilo is actually very hard working, too! And she is kinda aggressive which makes her Gryffindor sometimes. XD

I probably didn't count her because she only showed up at the end of her movie, and I wasn't counting the sequels.

I didn't want the collage to get too big and cluttered than it already is, so I limited it to anthro animals.

All perfect sortings, though I must ask:

What makes Alice, Blue Fairy, Jessica, Aurora, Kida, Rapunzel, and Elsa in their certain houses?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Kitty-McGeeky97 In reply to Muggle-Gem-Princess [2017-05-18 05:40:24 +0000 UTC]

There's actually quite a few who I felt could be interchangeable for certain houses, but I also wanted to refrain from making them all Hufflepuffs since most Disney protagonists tend to be nice by default. So I would would take a look at other traits.

I put Alice in Ravenclaw for her emphasized trait of curiosity.

The Blue Fairy comes off as wise and elegant.

Jessica Rabbit is Hufflepuff due to how selfless and compassionate she is.

Aurora would've been too easy to place in Hufflepuff, but I think what she has going for Ravenclaw is how I believe she has a hidden witty side. She played along with the fairies as they tried to hide their party plans. I would also point out she seems curious about people and love based on her singing.

Kida was originally going to be Gryffindor, but I personally felt her fascination with rediscovering her culture made her fit in Ravenclaw pretty well.

Rapunzel is also rather interchangeable with having her be a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff, which I can get both sides. But I just felt a lenience for Hufflepuff. It's strangely ironic since my headcanons for those Big Four Hogwarts AUs are usually opposite compared to the norm.

Now Elsa...she also felt interchangeable in between making her Slytherin or Ravenclaw. She has the elegance and wit of a Ravenclaw, but she also comes off as incredibly resourceful in trying to hide herself from her own power and from others.

Ah, all interesting choices. When I wrote down my Hogwarts Sorting for the Disney Princesses, here's what I chose:

-Hufflepuff: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Elsa
-Gryffindor: Ariel, Jasmine, Mulan, Rapunzel, Merida, and Anna
-Ravenclaw: Belle and Pocahontas
-Slytherin: Tiana

I actually ended up going onto videos and articles to get ideas for sorting too, seen some pretty unique choices too.

It's not too often I see Rapunzel as a Gryffindor.

Ah, interesting. You gonna do more sorting ideas such as ones for Total Drama, Darkwing Duck, etc...

Kitty-McGeeky97 In reply to Muggle-Gem-Princess [2017-05-19 04:10:32 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I'm working on that.

Total Drama/Ridonuclous Race has loads of characters for me to do. Darkwing Duck is trickier since I have to figure what characters to include/exclude.

So...I must ask, where do you think I should sort Crona and Negaduck?

For Negaduck, because he's typically seen as an alternate universe version of Darkwing (who is a Gryffindor by the way), do you think he should also be a Gryffindor where the sorting in the Negaverse is altered?

Muggle-Gem-Princess In reply to Kitty-McGeeky97 [2017-05-19 19:08:32 +0000 UTC]

I think that sounds perfect.

As for Crona, I feel like Hufflepuff fits them due to their content and introvert behavior.

Ah, okay. Just trying to avoid making too many villains be Slytherins.

That's what I was starting to lean towards.

Muggle-Gem-Princess In reply to Kitty-McGeeky97 [2017-05-19 20:56:10 +0000 UTC]

Personally, I don't believe all Slytherins are bad guys, it's just how their personal traits are. For example, I'd been thinking of doing an Ever After High Sorting and at first, I wanted her to be part of Ravenclaw, but the more I think of it, I think Apple personally belongs in Slytherin due to her ambitious personality about wanting people to follow their destines and sticking with the same stories forever. However, it doesn't make her evil or cruel.

Another example is Hunter whom was originally in Gryffindor, but I believe he now leads more towards Ravenclaw due to having a personality similar to Pocahontas.

I'd also bring up in a status post about Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug being a Slytherin, and she's not bad. I honestly think that fits Apple White well too.

And I have some bad guys in Gryffindor like Gaston and Bowser.

Alrighty then.
Well, I don't have to ask about the Ravenclaw that much because I know it mostly consists of the smartest girls there.
Let's see...I'm mostly curious about Jessica Rabbit, Charlotte La Bouff, Judy Hopps, Sally, Esmerelda, Elsa, Tiana, Vanelope, Tinker Bell, and Rapunzel.

Kitty-McGeeky97 In reply to UltimateJKC1994 [2017-05-15 22:07:08 +0000 UTC]

For Jessica, Charlotte, Sally, and Rapunzel...I think it has a lot to do with their kindness and loyalty for others.

I was originally going to make Judy a Hufflepuff before thinking that Gryffindor fits her more in terms of how she's prone to being impulsive but she's also known for being honorable and having a sense of a strong moral center.

Esmeralda was originally Gryffindor for how defiant she is, but I realized she's very cunning and resourceful too.

Elsa could easily fit well into Ravenclaw too, though I think her acts of self-preservation and resourcefulness from how unstable she was would make a good match for Slytherin.

I had Tiana in mind for Hufflepuff at first due to how hard-working she is to have her restaurant. But it hit me that her dream is incredibly ambitious, I think she could be a good example of a Slytherin who isn't stereotypically bad.

Vanellope is deep down kind, though she too is prone to mainly self-benefit herself, that combined with her determination got her in Slytherin.

Tinker Bell I think is pretty obvious since she is naturally cunning and determined to get what she wants, especially since fairies are established as being so small they can only feel one emotion at a time, and her jealousy could make her go to extremes

That is true. I do love kindness.
One is just a little more bubbly than others. lol

Morality is a great trait for her.

Yeah. sneaky works. lol

Well, this is the first Slytherin I like.

Hard work...well...works. lol

"I hereby decree they will be....executed..." XD

Yep. I did kinda see her as a slytherin. lol

Kitty-McGeeky97 In reply to UltimateJKC1994 [2017-05-16 04:01:25 +0000 UTC]

Just remember not all Slytherins are evil, some Ravenclaws and Gryffindors can be just as arrogant and extreme. Since Hufflepuffs are all about being kind and loyal, I could see them being too loyal to realize who truly is trustworthy.
