Is it weird to say I enjoy seeing my two favorite Koopalings here interacting, especially in the form of a sibling rivalry/conflict? I always pictured them as the two who almost never get along because of their contrasting personalities. They may both be geniuses but in very different ways.Iggy frequently pesters his oldest brother, who is very introverted, so naturally they'll get into an argument (though most of the time it's just Ludwig who's angry
). Here, we can assume Iggy has gotten a bit irritated with Ludwig's need to be alone. But what exactly happened beforehand to get Iggy ticked off as well?

I see Ludwig as a quite thinker, despite being very outwardly tough. He's the one watching over his siblings and leading them to try to help them, though most of them see it as Ludwig being bossy. He internalizes all of their losses and feels responsible for them, as he's not done a great job leading everyone. So he's often on his own thinking up new plans.
Iggy is hyperactive and a reckless with most things, Not officially/ medically crazy, but more like a crazy child. Though smart, he doesn't understand what's going through Ludwig's head and tries to get him to lighten up.
I imagine what's depicted in your picture here happens at least weekly because of that.

out of the koopalings: yes these 2 would be the ones to never get along. but if you include Bowser jr (he's basically like boom boom in this case: he was ONCE called a koopaling in a manual/guide but never in game) then I think Ludwig would rather tolerate iggy then bowser jr XD I see it as ludwig, being the oldest, would be jealous of his youngest brother (going by the original/fan interpretation since officially he isn't their brother) because jr is second in command, the FAVORITE, next in line for the throne. everything that SHOULD be ludwigs is going to jr for no apparent reason. and bowser treats jr better then he EVER treated the koopalings. both him and jr treat them like slaves, while jr gets all of the love a child deserves. what happens when the koopalings fail? they get yelled at, threatened and eventually disowned. what does jr get? a fucking talking to and a "you did your best. im so proud of you" at least with iggy Ludwig has something to relate too

I agree, Ludwig in my headcanon does have a dislike for Bowser Jr. for roughly the same reasons, feeling like he was robbed of what he truly deserved...Then again, Ludwig doesn't really get along with hardly anyone in my opinion. Bowser Jr. and Iggy just tend to annoy him the most...
There's also Roy who likes to pick on all his siblings but that could be because he has more of a tough love vibe, wanting to look cool.

yea I think with roy its like "only I am allowed to beat you up" where as with Ludwig its like "fuck yall guys im perfect I don't need you... but yall need me so don't ever leave me" Ludwig just gives off that kind of vibe even in game, always described as arrogant. he's definitely like Courtney from total drama XD he can find the slightest flaw in anyone and make it this big deal and uses it as a reason to hate you XD look at his fights with Mario, while the others freak out when they se him but get ready for battle immediately, ludwig arrogantly laughs to himself then just like "oooh" as in "someone like you was able to make it this far? o well i'll enjoy kicking your ass"

If Ludwig's music he's written got burned in the process, he'd go nuts and probably try to kill Iggy.
