In light of confirmation from a podcast with Matt & Trey, it turns out Stan was not killed and just got shot in the arm. I am relieved, though I had an underlying feeling that Stan would ultimately be fine. This is not the first time a kid got shot and lived, David on the far right has experienced that (even Token and Stan himself had been shot before).

As a little celebration, here's part 2 for the offscreen conclusion I interpreted. It was kind of inspired by two Tumblr images:

Stan inadvertently saved Kenny from death by getting in the way, but the shot itself was just a graze on his arm much to the relief of his friends who are happy he's safe and going on about how lucky he was. The time Stan feels he needs his parents' support the most after that ordeal, yet they don't even seem to acknowledge it. After all, in their words, "it's not the end of the world".

I'm SUPER embarrassed that I made this so early, it wasn't even the correct arm that got shot, and he had a sling.

EDIT: (4/28/19) ...Okay, remember when the fandom freaked out beyond belief because Stan got shot, only for it to just whittle into nothing but him wearing a sling in the next episode? Well, that's far behind us now. Aside from just wanting to update the pic itself to better quality otherwise it might've been eventually scrapped. Improved character models, getting Stan's injury right, and having a background that's wayyyyy better.
