I wish shippers wouldn't get at each other's throats and demonize other characters...Stan loves his super best friend and girlfriend very much, and I bet they like each other just fine.
Expect me to make more designs of the characters at some point. Just wanted to start small.

Thereβs just one thing I donβt understand. How did shipping become such a big deal for the SOUTH PARK fandom? I canβt make heads or tails on it.

I mean...shipping is crazy in most fandoms to begin with.

Finally, someone else who thinks that shipping wars are pointless. Then again South Park's fan base isn't nearly as bad as say... Rick and Morty or The Loud Houses fan bases (I enjoy those shows, but their fan bases are terrible). I think that one is pretty tolerable compared to those two, even if they get a little emotional about their ships.
As far as the designs go they're pretty good.

The shipping wars used to be sooo bad, but I think it kind of mellowed down in recent years. (aside from the whole thing with rabid Heiman, Kydi, and Kyman shippers attacking each other on Tumblr when Season 21 was happening.)

Yeah, Tumblr was pretty bad, but I think the Youtube comment sections are worse (I'm not even gonna go into detail).Β
But I agree, then again that love triangle was a major focus in the back half of the season so I kind of expected that. There's also the people arguing whether or not Stan and Wendy got back together or not. Though in that case it was left ambiguous (we never did see if they got back together after Bill and Bill helped them, but given the fact that the creators had to rewrite the whole back half I think most of that plot line was lost. I know that Garrison would've went back to teaching had Hilary won and the gender war would've gotten more coverage) and it's debatable whether or not being them listed as dating in Fractured But Whole is credible (which I think it is because Trey and Matt had a hand in making the game so I consider it canon unless it's said otherwise). Though that's a whole other can of worms.
Don't get me wrong Stendy is my favorite couple in the show (and quite possibly overall) and all, but having to see both sides tear each other apart (well more the nay sayers who support Style) over it is really annoying.

I think it was left so up in the air what happened. I get the vibe Stan and Wendy is only implied to still be canon based on their Fractured But Whole interactions when fighting together, and neither of them wanted to end the relationship in the first place. (Wendy was clearly reluctant and forced into doing so by her friends) Either their relationship is currently in secret if the gender war is still a thing, or just straight-up got fixed off-screen.
I love Stendy a lot, I think theyβre cute and could use a little more appreciation, even if I get they might be busy focusing on other aspects for the show.

Yeah, the show's given me no reason to believe that they're still broken up, at this point it's pretty illogical for them to still be so. Then again I've been wrong before (I didn't think Creek would ever happen and now I'm still eating those words).
Some think the gender war is still active because of how Kyle acted when around the girls when he wanted to talk to them about Heidi in "Doubling Down" (though bear in mind he doesn't have a girlfriend, therefore is more likely to be in the dark about whether the couples made up or not. Adding to that, said scene was a reused scene from "Wieners Out" that didn't make the cut into that episode). I'm guessing it isn't because of his speech at the end of S20 and the fact that the genders seem to have no problem being in each others presence from what I've seen.
I guess time will tell.
BTW, it's not just their battlefield interactions, there's a relationship sheet for the playable characters that says their dating so I'm really going by that (and we already know the game takes place after Season 20 because Cartman's closet, Stan kept the break up note, the member berries are there and the game has the fidget spinners from "Put It Down").

I'm honestly hoping season 22 could potentially establish more, with the under-lying plot formula they've started using, it wouldn't surprise me.
Plus there was the Franchise Prequel tie-in episode in season 21.
