After the announcement that Prince Kion and Prince Chaka were going to be married to Prince Baliyo and Queen Rani of the Night Pride, King Simba and his family traveled to the Greatlands to attend the weddings; this included Kopa, and the rest of his Guard, leaving Vitani, along with her Guard to watch over the Pridelands. Kopa offered for his wife, Zuri, to come with him, though she declined. "It's too far for me to travel." she had said. So the two had their passionate goodbyes, and Kopa was on his way with the rest of his family, and his Guard.

Zuri was fine at first, spending her days like she usually did; until Vitani and her Guard wouldn't spoil her like Kopa did. She was starting to get lonely, and longing for physical intimacy; eventually leading for her to go on a walk, hoping someone would sense her lonliness, and provide her comfort.

Eventually someone did. A handsome leopard with bright green eyes. He could smell her longing, and offered her relief, promising that it would only be for a night; just to help her feel better. Zuri accepted, and the two shared a passionate night. Afterwards the leopard, who introduced himself as Makucha, offered to walk the lioness home; which Zuri accepted, once again.

After that night, the two didn't interact with each other. They had no need to.

A week later, Kopa and the others returned from the Night Pride, something that lions like Zuri, and Tiifu were excited to see. After the return of the royal family, Zuri and Kopa were very intimate, eventually leading to Zuri announcing that she was pregnant; much to Kopa's excitement, and the excitement of her friends.

The pregnancy went smoothly, Zuri was elated to have the Pride's attention all to herself, especially from her husband, parents, and in-laws. Even Tiifu, who was also pregnant at the time, was super excited for her friend and cousin. Eventually, when it was time for her o give birth, the older lionesses were ready to help both Zuri and Tiifu with the delivery of their cubs. Both lionesses were healthy, and so were their cubs; the two Guard leaders rushed in to great their wives and cubs.

Vitani and Tiifu had two daughters, both fluffy and sleepy. They were named Raziya and Zuwena.

Kopa and Zuri had two cubs, a daughter and a son. The son had already started opening his eyes, orange like Kion and Sarabi's. Zuri named him Kamili, Kopa agreed to the name. The daughter, however, didn't look right.

She had her mother's blue eyes, but her fur was more spotted than the average lion cub. It looked more like a leopard, suspiciously like a leopard. Kopa looked at her with confusion, Zuri looked at her with dread. Cats can have a litter with multiple fathers, that's why Simba and Zira looked so different, but came from the same litter. Zuri didn't know that, so she had mated with Kopa many times not to long after the night with Makucha, assuming that it would mean that he would be the father of all of her cubs; but she didn't tell anyone about that night with Makucha, and this spotty cub was the result of that oversight. This was Makucha's cub.

"Zuri, can you explain this?" Kopa asked. Zuri lost control of her emotions, the hormones and guilt became to much. Kopa wasn't happy about this, but knew that this wasn't the end of the world. Zuri begged for Kopa to re-accept her loyalty, promising that it would never happen; whether it was out of love or due to her status as a princess by marriage, she couldn't tell. Kopa was willing to accept her loyalty to their marriage, brushing off the affair as an honest mistake; but there was a catch.

He wasn't going to raise the bastard cub.

Zuri accepted this proposal with out hesitation, almost throwing the lepion out of her paws, turning all of her attention to her and Kopa's perfect son.

Tiifu and Vitani watched the whole ordeal, both very concerned about what affect this could have on Kamili and his sister, who was crying, with neither of the two parents were even considering to notice. Vitani could sense her wife's worry for the abandoned cub, knowing that she was too tired to help the nameless cub; especially with her two daughters curled up and sleeping at her belly. The scruffy lioness padded over to the abandoned cub, picking her up, and placing her in her wife's paws. Tiifu immediately began cleaning the spotted furball, and then moving her towards her new sisters to feed.

That evening, Vitani and Tiifu were looking at Zuri and Kopa continuing to dote on their son. Hoping that things would work out for them. Vitani took the spotted cub into her paws, with her and Tiifu examining their newest daughter, hoping that they could find something that could be her name.

The two eventually settled on Jamila. Elegant. Just like her mother.

I decided to make Jamila canon to my AU, and Zuri seems to be depicted by several people as a cheater. (Unusually with Kion or Kovu) which means that in this AU, Zuri cheats on Kopa with Makucha. Though Makucha didn't know that Zuri was married, and Zuri never cheats on Kopa again. (Gods help me, i can't draw spots)
