Why am I still submitting under "manga/anime"? I hate when people think that their art has suddenly become "better" when they're no longer considering their work manga, because that's just plain stupid, but...I don't know. I feel like I'm going in a different direction. While nowadays you CAN have an art-related career with anime-style drawing (just look at Chris Hart and Fred Gallagher, neither of them are good artists at all and yet they're somehow famous and making money...Chris Hart because he's feeding off of the cashcow that is little kids wanting to draw manga, and I really have no idea how Freddy got all the exposure he's getting, seeing that Megatokyo is...ferf. Yeah, ferf, that's how I'll explain it), but I feel that I'm just naturally going in a different direction. Manga/Anime is my main influence, and I don't ever want to be ashamed of that (please punch me in the face if I am some day). But I'm not sure if it's "me" any more. The little sixth grade kids I'd give drawing lessons to at my school's anime club would tell me things like "Sweet, but why are you in anime club when you don't draw or watch anime?", and some of my friends IRL have asked me when I decided to stop drawing anime/why I've decided to stop even though I never consciously decided to do so...Ergh.Anyway, this one took a while for some reason, and I wish I hadn't decided to try and make it look like the green...Circle things are tipping over the medical cross thinger. It looks like I made a mistake rather than being on purpose :'D FFFF and there are some major mistakes with said medical cross thinger too. Actual mistakes. But I won't go into that.
So yeah, not sure if I like it or not...And are the colors burning your eyes or is that just me?

Oh, and my opinion on Chris Hart and Fred Gallagher aren't meant to offend anyone...They're just examples :/ So I hope I didn't get anyone angry in the process.

that's all you have to say about your friend's sweat blood and tears? it took her a few days to finish this. why don't you look past the "creepy" and appreciate the skill, effort, and technique that went into this artwork. I'm sure many other people would appreciate it as well if you were able to do that.

I think the color combination / heavy contrast really adds something to the pic, aswell as the abstract circles etc. Good job.

It does suck. But after all, Germany's Interior Ministers came to the conclusion videogames ("killergames") are the cause for all kind of social problems, especially when people that run amok in schools explicitly state because their childhood sucked major ass.

When I was ten, I felt really badass when I played that one game that was labeld 12+. Also, I played The Settlers when I was 4 or something like that and watched Back to the Future with three. That left a mark or two. First mark: Never send three officer-ranked Romans into an enemy base. First recruit some generals or your little ants won't be able to conquer that one tower. Second mark: Being a mad scientist is wonderful.

Too bad I get infuriated by too much stupidity. Especially of those who are supposed to lead us.
I'm glad we have the "Pirate Party" (pun intended, although it doesn't work in German) here that supports the political wishes of gamers that think THIS SHIT CANNOT HAPPEN. They originally were a political organization from Sweden trying to make downloads of music, video games etc. legal, but they've quickly come to the realization they need a compromise. They quickly realized what a political gap they've found with topics important to most people on the net, such as copyright. Don't we all hate it if a video, especially an AMV on YouTube is muted or removed because of copyright infringement? The Pirate Party knows people will always copy, so why suppress creativity when we could FINALLY renovate the old copyright law that isn't suited for the net? Outside of USA, there isn't even a Fair Use paragraph.
They also want to support open access to knowledge (such as Wikipedia), scientific results (at least here some research is funded with taxes, but the outcome is classified - we pay for things we can't see nor use
Because the majority of our blessed politicians don't know anything about the internet but it's EVIL AND ANARCHY. Some of that unimportant stuff from those youngsters, pah. URL? WTF is that? :d Most of our politicians are even printing all kind of internet sites! PRINTING I TELL YOU. THEY TRY TO PRINT THE INTERNET.
Pirate Party scored ~7% in Sweden during last European elections and thus was able to send of their men to EU Parliament. NOW THAT RULES.
In Germany they got 1%, which is still pretty impressive if you look how young the Party is. They haven't even covered all aspects of political matters like economy, but they're working on it and at least want to influence politics with their voice in their aspects - because we and they know they won't suddenly score 60% and become the leading party, lol.
They're counting 5300 members at the moment and most of them were recruited after media went WTF!? after they saw a party that was labled a "gag party" reached 1%. WE'RE ON THE MOVE.

I simply don't feel that manga/anime is my style, and, although I used to draw it, I have wandered away from it. Many of my favorite artists would be considered under that category though. They are great influences, just not my style, y'know?
I personally like your style. I don't find it to be anime/manga, I find it to be your style. And, I like that.
But, on to the picture. I think this is really cool. I don't know why, maybe cause it's like a cyber-goth girl. I like cyber-goth girls. Her outfit is sick. <3 I like her pointy fingers, and I usually have an erk for that sort of thing. But, you made it look good.
