Description NOTE: Lydia left round 1 with some blood loss and two energy-blast holes in her clothing (one near the bottom of her ribcage and one on her shoulder, partially severing one strap). She didn't obtain any items.

Lydia's reference sheet! I am entering her in a tournament thingie right hurr ---->

So you guys should enter too! Comics and writing are both allowed so it should be good times (if I don't get eliminated right away >>

Description time!

Lydia is a vampire, which calls for some explanation of the species.
Vampires are technically dead; they live through the projection of mental energy and require blood in their body at all times in order to function. A vampire who is very close to running out of blood will revert to a near-animal and go after the nearest source of human blood. If a vampire's body is completely emptied of blood, they will fall into a death-like coma and cannot be revived except by blood from their original human body. Lydia carries a small vial of her blood (a 'blood key'in case of emergency. A vampire in such a coma will have no pulse and will not age. A vampire can be killed by decapitation, incineration, or anything else that totally separates their mind from their body.

Lydia comes from a small specialized subgroup of vampires called Ghost. She is trained in vampire law enforcement, which includes assassination assignments. She is now retired.

Lydia's talents include very high levels of agility and speed as well as above-human strength (though among vampires she is definitely not the strongest). Her enhanced psychic abilities allow her to detect lies, read certain strong thoughts, and alter the mood of those around her. she can move small objects as well, but this takes time and concentration.

Lydia can shift into a mist form, as well. The mist resembles thick black smoke. Lydia can move freely as a mist, but she cannot influence objects around her and switching back to her solid form takes a few seconds.

She can recover almost instantly from most injuries, but wounds from weapons made of pure iron will take longer and wounds from pure silver will heal as slowly as a human's. Bright sunlight reduces Lydia's powers to human levels and she cannot enter a home without being invited.

Lydia fights with a pistol (she carries regular and silver-tipped bullets) or, at close range, with her strong, sharp fingernails and teeth.

EDIT: 2 things - first, Lydia's story is here on my fictionpress account ---> [link]
The tournament happens before the canon events so Jeremy's plotline doesn't get in the way. The story's being redone chpter by chapter to fix some things so they may change a bit in the near future.

second, I forgot to mention Lydia's glasses. She needs them to read and do other up-close things but she'll probably take them off while fighting. They have rectangular plastic frames.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Indeed she does look about the exact opposite of M'emo. XD M'emo's friends with a couple vampires (according to my storylines, vampires are considered second-class citizens of Hell, and well, M'emo is friends with EVERYONE). Unfortunately the only thing he loves more than sunlight is sunflowers. D:

hahaha. I can just imagine Lydia expecting some big scary competitor and them M'emo bounding in all "LET'S BE FRIENDS" and completely baffling her XD

I like her Simplistic but cute/pretty design and not over powered but not helpless little baby. Nicely in the middle with strengths and weaknesses.

As I go down the participant list, I keep having to ask this. You've listed physical weaknesses, and maybe hinted as some mental (or maybe that's just my interpretation), but I'd like to know from you, since you know your character best, if there are any emotional and/or psychological weaknesses she has. So, uhm, yes. Are there any emotional/psychological weaknesses?

Thanks! Hmm, let's see.

Lydia is generally level-headed, which is why she was put in charge of her subdivision. She's had the advantage of more than 200 years to "get over herself" and, to an outsider, will seem somewhat cold, detached, and very efficient.

She has a couple issues concerning her past; she lost her parents at a fairly young age and was blind for most of her human life, leaving her angry, antisocial, and eventually suicidal. The vampire who created her left her to go into hiding shortly after her transformation, instead of taking on the traditional role of mentor. She is still very attached to him, angry at him, intimidated by him, you get the idea His name is Lucian (and he has black hair, one blue eye and one green eye, which you may find relevant)

I think Lydia has sufficiently dealt with most of these, though, so they're likely to touch a nerve but not likely to, say, trigger a meltdown. And then there's the constant struggle between thirsting for blood and not liking to kill that comes with the species.

Man I am long-winded! Let me know if you have any other questions, though, I love babbling about my characters.

Thanks for complimenting my dumb little sheet, haha!

Next is the into piece... *cracks knuckles*

Hmm, Anna or Susan? I like second opinions!

Happy to give you one, you say law enforcement, this means she generally gravitates towards the side of good? Or justice? Or is it just convenient to not be on the run from police?

Anna is a tad meek, but she would be giving a plea for help. If she is someone who cares about people in need, then it's an easy choice. Though, perhaps the similarities of having an uncontrolled aspect (Lydia in need of blood, Anna when controlled by Susan) might strike a chord of sympathy in a more hardened character (as most vampires are after living so long)

For Susan, maybe she could notice Lydia finishing off a mission, admire her skill, and convince her with the lure of free wishes for herself.
