Looks nice, and the lighting and position of the fern leaves really adds depth. The characters seem a little too well-litand contrasted for a forest-floor setting, but it ain't too bad

Yeah, my bloody fault for messing with filters on Photoshop. Eh... check out the other pic this was made into. I love it so much. It's the Cliche Romance Book Cover--God I spent so much time making that I wish I can make another one. Sadly, I forgot some of the filters I used and what their order was to make it just perfect. (You'll see what I mean

Hmm, the main doifference I see is that the book cover has a "noise" filter applied...unless that was intentional to give it an old look

Yes... but I had added a few other filters with very little opacity and a very small percentage. Noise was definitely used greatly to give it that aged look (because all those aged covers are being remade nowawadays).
