I just can't seem to get into cartoons the same way I can for anime. Anime tends to hold my interest more. But I like it sensibly, I'm definitely not a weeaboo.

I barely watch anime I just don't care for most western animation like Simpsons or Family Guy. Its not funny nor is it interesting to look at.

I already know I'm going to get attacked but I have a strong dislike for morden western animation, it looks all the same to me! Gravity falls, SU, Star vs. the forces of evil, Adventure time.
What I mean by that they look the same to me is that they have a silmar style and color palette to me, they have those black lines and that pop out cartoon style so it doesn't really catch my attention.
I know I'm going to sound like a nostalgia-tard by saying this but I honestly enjoy older cartoons more. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

Lmao, nah you're not hating I don't even like anime all that much either honestly. The only anime I'm obsessed with is Astro Boy and some other older animes, I don't really like modern anime either just like I'm not a big fan of modern cartoons.
I think the only reason that I enjoy anime slighty more than cartoons [hope I don't sound like a 'weeb' or whatever those are] is simply because the stories in anime happen to catch my eye more than in cartoons. I guess an example I can use is the show 'Gravity Falls' that I mentioned in my first comment, It's not that I don't really care of the show because of the art style it's because I can't get into this 'amazing' story that people always talk about in the show. I just don't get the hype of the story, no offense if you're a fan.
Where as in anime I happen to like the story in animes a bit more, but I have to admit sometimes animes are just all around confussing and I don't understand quite a handful of modern ones. Or worse yet when they pull that bullshit where you have to watch some spin-off in the series that you didn't even know existed to understand the main series itself or if you want to know what happened to a certain character. [I know cartoons pull this kind of crap too I just see it a bit more in anime]

I don't dislike it, but I barely watch most of them and I can agree that they all have very similar or at least the same style and color palette, I feel like most of the animations are drawn and made by the same artists. I can agree with you on that.

Yeah, it kinda of annoys me personally because I would like to see more original styles, they're are some great older cartoons with great styles that got left in the dust such as Chaotic and that type of stuff annoys me because I really wish shows like that were more popular, not only because of they're style there are some really good characters and great story in forgotten cartoons too!
I think the only morden cartoon that I really love is Regular Show, I like it's crazy humor, haha.

True true. I feel ya and regular show is awesome, I like the uniqueness to it, it is crazy weird in a good way. I do enjoy the variety of antagonist the they face
