So here is a riddle to guess if you canSing the bells of Notre Dame
What makes a monster and what makes a man?
........
Basically, the kind and fun loving festival Clopin that just wants to make people laugh against the Court of Miracles Clopin that is willing to kill and die for his people.
GAH! This picture nearly killed me... there is so much wrong with it but I love it anyway! Please note, Notre Dame was heavily referenced when drawing it. And Clopins Scythe is all wrong and the poses aren't completely right.
If you don't understand the background, basically on one side the houses are burning and collapsing on the other everything is sunny and peaceful
I may colour this at some point in the near future

I love the juxtaposition of the two Clopins against one another. It can be hard to believe that's the same man. That's why they lit him the way they did. They wanted to make it clear that he's the same individual we met at the FoF, yet he can be very dark and dangerous. That, I think, is what makes Clopin my favorite character in the movie. He may only have seven minutes of screen time but in those seven minutes we see more character development in him than we do throughout the movie for any of the other characters, except perhaps Quasimodo (whose character develops only at the climax of the movie). We know exactly who Clopin is. We're still discovering Quasi.
