Prepare as I rant the rant of life.I do not hate Nightcloud. Or Leafpool. Or Feathertail.
I hate Crowfeather. Just my notion, and you can have yours. I detest how people say; "Oh, Nightclouds a bitch." Wtf did Nightcloud ever do to Leafpool? Nothing. Did Leafpool do anything to Nightcloud? No. Did Feathertail? No. So what if she isn't all sweet and gentle? Is Squirrelflight? Hell naw. I just don't get why everyone hates her so much, but people can think how they like.
She kinda looks like a panther in this....>_>
Oh well. I kinda imagined Nightcloud as one of the most beautiful cats in the series, I love black cats, they're very pretty and entrancing to look at.

Exactly how I feel! Everyone is always calling her a bitch saying she's mean to Leafpool, well how many of them are nice to their significant other's ex? Besides she has a ton of shit to deal with, her mate never loved her, she bore kits that he didn't give a damn about, he USED her to prove his loyalty, she her life is pretty shitty too guys

I don't hate Crowfeather or any of the she-cats in his little harem (xD).
But I am not particularly fond of Nightcloud because she just has an overall mean attitude. x_x The little that you do see of her, she is growling or clawing at Crowfeather and/or Breezepelt or somebody else. I understand that Crowfeather doesn't actually /love/ her, but still...oh well. I agree though, I don't understand why people hate Crowfeather, Leafpool, Nightcloud, or Feathertail. OH WELL.

I did not hate her....... till she taught Breezepelt to hate Crowfeather. THEN things got a little.... well...... I don't really like her anymore but Great Drawing though!

Nightcloud is one of my favorite character's. I know a lot of people dislike her for having a bad "attitude." Of just because she is overprotective about Crowfeather...But I like her just the way she is. Nightcloud has EVERY RIGHT to spiteful and hateful of Crowfeather and Leafpool. Think about it. All she wanted was to love and be loved by Crowfeather, but he took Leafpool as a mate, since she was similar to Feathertail in a way. ((I think.)) Then the run off but were brought back by Midnight. ((I think)). So, now he's got to prove his loyalty. His solution? Taking complete advantage of a cat who loved him. He took advantage of her feelings, got her knocked, then just ignores Nightcloud and Breezepelt for the most part. He never tried to be a father to Breezepelt, leaving Nightcloud to fill the role of both parents.Β Then when Hollyleaf revealed the truth, Nightcloud realized that Crowfeather had a whole family. Leafpool was a medicine cat, who ranked highly in clan society, one that was Leafpool's apprentice, and two other's that were successful warriors. Even when Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf were kits and thought their parent's were Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, they were loved by not only Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, but Leafpool as well. Nightcloud was by herself, trying to be two parents for her only kit who will never be successful as the other three and will never know the love of the cat who selfishly never fathered him. Basically, it's not Nightcloud's fault she loved Crowfeather. You may not like her personality. but I think it makes her a unique character. She has a very strong character might I add. She didn't just wallow in self-pity. She stood up for herself and worked through all the pain brought on all Crowfeather. She does not need to be some extremely nice, caring, calm she-cat. Nightcloud is great the way she is. \(^0^)/~<3Β

I never favored Nightcloud, but i don't get why everyone dislikes her. She isn't kind and she is a bit arrogant, but she isn't murderous or a liar or dangerous in a major way. She wasn't the best mother, but looking at her, she could have been WAY worse. She never got vengeful or really bitter. I value your understanding and the way you just point out 'This is just MY opinion.' Anyway, awesome job with the picture! I love how you did it. Not too much art on Nightcloud, much less GOOD art of her. I love it!

Actually, Nightcloud loves Crowfeather with her heart and soul. But Crowfeather never really "reacted" He just kinda went along with the whole mate thing.Β

Oh my god thank you. Finally someone who understands like I just don't even get why anyone hates Nightcloud??? She never did anything to deserve all the hate she gets, and I'm assuming most of the people who hate her just hate her because she 'gets in the way of Leafpool and Crowfeather'.

SELFISHLY doesn't father Breezepelt, which mean's Nightcloud had to take that role. Rarely Crowfeather was EVER there, Nightcloud was a great mother, then it just went down hill.
