Hello!! I'm not sure if it's better to ask here or the other journal hh-- I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions about the species! Since I really like the species so far and want to write some info on my chimnie bab when I'm more clear about some things to avoid interpreting the info wrongly!
1) It's mentioned that the infected look, act and behave like the uninfected, but do the uninfected know that the infected exist? If they do know, what does the uninfected think of the infected? Are they aggressive to them (like hunt them), just avoid them or?
2) Do the uninfected generally not go out during day time? Since if they are supposed to, it'd be easy to identify an infected because they can't go out then while the uninfected can
3) Do chimnie age physically? Since they can't die--

1) some of the uninfected know that the infected exist while some of them don't, if they do know, they'll mostly avoid them since infected couldn't be killed easily, unless, your chimnie is kind of military,, but as I said, there's no difference in look for uninfected and infected so it's hard for them to detect which one of them are harmless, so yeah,, they mostly avoid them
2) some of the infected can go outside of the day!! (for example go to work that requires indoor), they'll behave like uninfected through daylight only if you don't push them toward direct sunlight, they'll scream and get burnt. Other than that, they're good at acting to hide their status.
3) Chimnie age psychically depending on when did they die, if they die when they were teen, then they're forever teen, if they diet when they were adult, then they were adult forever!
