Description For those whom missed my recent journals: I don't like most of the aliens in the Sonic universe (Wisps and Eclipse are kind of cool). I also don't like the Battle Bird armada or the Babylon Rogues (aside Bean and Predator, but they are ex-battle birds anyways). I removed the aforementioned Sonic characters from my future Sonic Universe. However, something that I am keeping are the Babylonians.

Apparently there is a bird like race similar to Mobians whom created the Babylon Garden and the Battle Birds all descend from them. So instead I removed the Battle Birds from their story and realize the Babylonians as their own beings. Several Babylonions will appear as antagonists in possible future Sonic projects as a result and I am sharing my designs for some of them now.

I just came out of an art slump. I am still too lazy to color them for now but I hope to get out of that phase as soon as possible, so I can update these drawings later. But for now, enjoy the inks.

As of now I introduce three members of the Babylon five, a group of five Babylonian elite warriors. Of course all of them are birds. An extra I added is that each Babylonian soldier can weaponize gravity in some way. I mean the Ark from the Babylon Garden bends gravity and I thought it would be fun to expand on that concept.

POSH THE PEACOCK

Posh is incredbily flamboyant, with a flair for drama and theatrics, making overexaggerated gestures and hammy speeches. No one clearly told this effeminate peacock that the auditions for the play ended years ago. But don't be mistaken by his amusing antics. He is a master of swords and daggers, wielding them with deadly profeciency and elegance. He mostly uses his gravity ring to make sure any knife he throws homes in on an foe or summon his weapons back should he lose them. He'll make sure you'll die in an utter elegant fashion, that is for sure.

BRUISER THE PELICAN

His name is not a lie, he is a physical bruiser. Unlike Storm the Albatross, he has an actual brain to back up for his brawn and has a ruthless cunning to him. He is to the Babylon Army what Black Beetle is to the Reach in YOung Justice. His gravity braces increase the punching power of his fists to hit even harder, and create shockwaves by slamming the ground. If you thought pelicans were funny birds, then allows Bruiser to show you otherwise.

TIKKA THE FIGHTING HEN

Tikka is a martial artist, using a style that is remniscant of Muai Thai. She relies on brutal and swift kicks and blows with her knees and elbows. She uses her gravity anklets to add power to her kicks as well as jump and leap higher or further. She suffers from an inferiority complex due to not being a flying species and often berated by male warriors, thinking a female like her has no place on the battlefield. But now she has become one of the Babylon Five and she'll show them.

Looks aweome! Really like their designs. They look unique. And Pelican? I don't think there have been a Sonic character like that, but I may be mistaken..

I have checked the sonic wiki and fanart...not much in terms of pelican characters as far as I can see.

These are all cool character designs and concepts.

I like the use of gravity powers on them too and how they use different gravity weapons to aid their fighting styles. That's very creative.

Thank you.

Which would you call your favorite?

They are not battle bird replacemens, but thay are also the 'alien invaders', and believe me I had to give them somethign the heroes would have a difficult time to counter. I mean you think Sonic can run fast in increased gravity, or tails fly when he feels like he is carrying ten elephants? I need a good reason for them to be a dangerous invasion force. And gravity control just fits perfect.

Design wise, I can't pick. Character wise, Posh sounds a lot of fun.

And that's a cool idea.

Posh sounds funny, just hope he’s not going to be too much like the Battle Lord Cuckoo. I like the sound of the skills they put with their gravity tech and the inspirations you’ve got for them

Believe me, Posh is nothing like the Battle Lord.

The gravity thing came to me when I thought of Riders and those gravity things Ark of the Cosmos or something.
