For a long time now I've had the idea that it would be really fun to run little contests to see who can decipher secret codes first and offer rewards for the winners.

Here's a nice easy one to get started. First one to translate the message gets a black and white drawing by me, good luck!

This is all a real photo, no photoshop here I'm pretty proud of how it came out. You can't read the title in the picture, but the book there is a collection of stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle printed in either the early 30s or late 20s. There's no publishing information in it any more but it says it was given as a gift in 1932, I really love this book hehe.
