"...The falcon chick did not know yet of the strife caused by the sun and moon's ongoing war. So, foolishly as young ones tend to be at times," here, Drakara looked pointedly at Jaiya.

She easily caught on to his subtle hint, as did Khoyo for he laughed at his sister's sudden indignation. "Hey!"

Drakara continued, a playful grin being sported. "...the young chick flew right in between the two battling. Blinded by rage and hatred for one another, neither Moon or Sun noticed the little one flying in their path.

"The two collided, a great flash of light covering the earth so brightly that nothing could be seen. And when sight finally returned to the world, both great beings for the first time in eternity looked down at the earth below. The lands were completely flooded and the mountains burned until fully blackened.

"Laying on a broken treetop in between them was now the lifeless falcon chick. And when the sun and moon saw this, they then realized the result of their actions.They cried out in grief, each ones sorrow unknowingly healing the earth. The sun's tears put out the fires on the mountains, and the moon's sadness was so great that it desperately tried to pull back its emotions from the surface, effectively pulling the rivers and seas off of the lands.

"Together, they held the falcon chick closely to themselves. Their mutual empathy was then poured into the chick as they grieved the loss of something so innocent. Then as the two came closer, not in battle but in peace, a dark shadow that seemed to also shine brightly covered the earth. the falcon chick's body began to morph into something.

"Surprised by this, the sun and moon backed away from each other, emitting a quick flash of light. And when the great shadow had finally passed, the chick's body was gone, but something now twinkled in the sky beside the sun and moon. A small, tiny light."

"The falcon chick became the first star, didn't it?" Jaiya asked.

"That's right." Drakara paused a moment to truly look at his younger siblings. It was nice to have nights like this, where they stold each other stories. "And so, whenever there is an eclipse, know that is when a new star is born."
