Call it what you will; Faith, Destiny, a Raven - when Wylla and Civa's paths aligned, it was as if meant to be for them to team up for the remainder of the quest. Something neither of them quarrelled upon. It would be nice to have a companion to work with, to talk to during the duller lengths of the trail, and discuss their doubts as the direction they went appeared to lead nowhere.
Shouldn't they have found something already?

However, as doubts grew to worry, they finally arrived at a crossroads, with two paths splitting ahead.

The otherwise harmonious duo found their first disagreement at the fork. Sure the second path appeared darker and entangled, but the sight of blood proved there might be a wounded animal down there. Who were they to say no to an evening snack after their endeavours? Or so Wylla stated. However, the more rational Civa suggested it was best not to go looking for trouble, and travelling higher up along the first path might give them a better overview.

In the end, it was Wylla who gave in, agreeing it would be nice to catch the sunset at the top of the hill. And while the view made for a great prize at the end of their journey, it was the time they got to spend together they'd cherish the most.
