There's always something that we all desperately want to obtain in our lives.
What is your wolf's deepest, most heartfelt desire?
What do they aspire to be, or to have?

As the world tore apart around her, and Wylla found herself at the precipice of her first split, there was only one word that kept recurring in her thoughts.

Toshala.

The absence of her sister was still a gaping hole in her life, and she found herself wondering, through everything that had and was going on, everything that was going to happen... Would she ever be able to let go? Would there be a future where she could mournfully recollect her sister, finding peace in a little anecdote or moment that mattered to her, without the sharp pain of fury and despair that rushed through her veins? Remembering the moment when she was torn from her side so swiftly would kick all the air from her lungs all at once.
All the thoughts and questions, the tragedy, injustice and fear of it happening all over again.
Thinking of her rotting corpse in a hole in the ground when she should be wild and free and happy
and most of all
by her side.

Wylla knew she would never get her sister back.
Even seeing her ghostly form had proven as much.
But she was determined to find justice in her passing.
To learn the cause and end it, once and for all.

And most of all
to find a way to let go
so she could remember in peace.
