Description Some of you might still remember the preview I posted of this ages ago... XD~ I started drawing this during the Olympics last year while watching the equestrian tournaments (haha, no Epona though). Mmh, it actually was nearly finished but about 1/3 of the colouring of the upper background. Guess I got lazy at some point, or fed up with the background. Who knows. Anyway, I decided to finish this and Link turned out much more of a bish than I planned. °-° Forgive me.
I tried to go with the Twilight Princess theme/style. Yeah, I remember wanting to write a lot about the picture when I drew it, but for some reason it seems redundant now. Btw, in case you want to reblog this on tumblr, please use it from my account there: [link] .

Tools: Copic multiliner (black, sepia, grey), Copic markers, Copic airbush, Polychromos, Schmincke Desinger's gouache, Dr. Ph. Martin's pen white (brush & maru dip pen)

Beautiful! I thought this was digital art because the colors are so clean and smooth, but you surprised me! After looking at it more closely, I do see the signs of copics and airbrushing. This is beautiful! I love the colors and the way you drew the entire piece itself. Excellent composition and balance, beautiful proportions, and wonderful use of perspective. I am in awe of your use of Copic markers (and other things)! Wow! Phenomenal work!

KiwiChameleon In reply to raspberryDA [2013-04-17 12:18:01 +0000 UTC]

raspberryDA In reply to KiwiChameleon [2013-04-18 11:04:05 +0000 UTC]

Gern!

Now this is AMAZING! I do indeed love digital art, but I've always respected traditional art much more due to the fact that once a mistake is made with the colors, there is almost no going back. This is fantastic, just fantastic. I love it very much. Good job! : ) And congrats to the totally deserved DD.

KiwiChameleon In reply to LittleLuxray [2013-04-17 12:30:51 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much. I do digital art as well and I know exactly what you mean. It's not just the undo button that helps you fix things (more than often). Once you work traditionally you have to accept the mistakes made, and not to be afraid to make mistakes. Most of the time I wish I had drawn something differently, but I am eager to fix it in the next picture. It's a harsh learning curve, but it does work.
