"Frozen" is an artwork which consists of two different images which are carefully placed over each other and thus creating a new impression, a new dimension. Both images are harmonizing very well, though they also contrast a lot: We find cold colours combined with ice crystals and dark areas which are placed next to each other. Both images contain glass surfaces, one of them being transparent while the other is not. Even with a little bit of natural irregularity in the upper picture, both of them give a sense of symmetry.
Frozen could be interpreted as a state of static, nothing here is moving. But it is also interesting to remark that modern buildings and architecture which is mostly made of glass and concrete is quite cold. Walking through a city of skyscrapers does not necessarily make us feel comfortable. Such giant buildings are mostly found in big cities, which for most people are places of anonymity or impersonality and consequently also loneliness.

Very pretty, Cyril! The diverging lines are quite captivating, and the vignette in the bottom picture of the diptych makes for a nice transition to the top one.
