Description
Based on this beautiful (and so hard to paint >_<) photo: .
It's painting for Paint Photo Challenge 7:
Paint Photo Challenge 7 (January 2019)The photo for this month was chosen by voting this time. Group Members decided that most of them would like to try this one:
taken by bigzoso (Huge thanks for all photographers who let us using their photos
!)
Rules:
- we all paint the same theme (see photo above)
- there is one month for that, it doesn't matter when you finish, we all upload not sooner than on last day of the challenge which is 31 January 2019. Why? To not suggest other participants how to face the challenge .
- any medium which makes sense is welcomed - traditional and digital - just your artwork have to be hand painted (I mean no photo manipulation, brush stamps, etc.) and in case of traditional medium the artwork correctly scanned/photographed and cropped without part of desk, tools etc. (feel free to ask in case of any doubts!)
- we comment artworks of each other
- everyone is welcomed, skill level doesn't matter at all, this challenge is to improve, exchange tips, techniqu for my PaintPhotoChallenge Group .
It's painted on 24x32 cm 200g/m2 Fabriano paper with aquarelles (and black ballpen for lineart).

Wow! Such an interesting twist! It is so different from the original photo~ Also, I love the way that you frame this picture. It makes this seems like something out of a fairy tale!Β Β Β

Thank you! Trees seems to be great in my case when something is wrong. I make them so detailed that they grab attention from things which went wrong XD hehe...

Thank you ! I took into my heart your words to not go into too much realizm but add something my own. I'd like it more realistic still but I'm trying to keep it more mine than previous tries
.
I'm looking forward to see you joining us! Soon I'm starting April photo voting and after that I'll announce a new challenge theme ^^.

I'll try to make some time for it. I actually did start a few but never got to finish them.
I guess that at those times I just couldn't get the energy to really start good so the inspiration to continue was not there.
I think you might not want to think in terms of realistic or not.
I mean this still has quite some realistic traits but you just also took the figurative things happening watching the image into mind.
Trying to mimic what happens on a photo can be valuable and educational for sure, but using a reference as inspiration and looking upon it beyond the 'a photo of a place' point of view,
adds a ton of things to explore and adventure with.
Plus, I think in this case it captured a lot of personality and is just fun to watch

Thank you . Your photo was really challenging!
But it's good thing. As hardest themes we face as better artists we grow

How interesting is done! Kizzy, you always have such a free interpretation of the image. This makes your drawings special.

Thank you . If I could only be a bit more accurate XD... But these challenges force me to train my eye so maybe in future... but I'm happy that you say that it looks special

Beautiful, I love the twisty trees that frame it so well, and your blue tone palette.

Thanks . Trees match everywhere hehehe XD. I love painting them so much! For blue I used mostly KarmaΕski brand "neutral black" (similar to Payne's Gray) which is blue like this, not black at all. It's perfect for all shades because is not intense blue

Thank you . I always must add something from myself to fill the gap between reality and this what I can see and depict ^^'. Good that it looks... good enough ^^'.
