This was another long one cause I went running with a silly idea lol. Theyβre playing RWBY Amity Arena because I was inspired for this prompt while playing it myself this morning XD Itβs a fun game but it can be super frustrating at times haha

Not every game, but most games in the app store are like this nowadays. lol

A few years back i played a racing game called Asphalt 8. The game is well made and at first it is fun. But overtime the game starts forcing you to make as much money as possible, wasting hours of your time. The cars in the game are overpriced, the game events are very hard to beat, some car upgrades cost more than an actual car, also multiplayer is infested with hackers and cheaters making it impossible to win. Like i said earlier, the game is fun at first but when you start playing it, it turns you into a slave and it's not fun anymore. Overtime racing in this game starts feeling like a chore rather than something fun. Also in order to keep you around, new cars and loot boxes keep coming out. Unfortunately it took me two or so years to finally snap out of it and delete the game from my PC. Games are supposed to be fun, something you enjoy doing, not something that enslaves you and starts taking your time away from other activities.

Mobile games aren't really my thing, so I can definitely understand the suffering. I know pretty much nothing about Amity Arena, though... What is it like?

Itβs like a tower defence game where you collect cards of characters and Grimm etc. that you use in battle to try to destroy the most of your opponents towers before time runs out. Itβs pretty fun when matches are fair but the matchmaking system isnβt always great and puts you against people way overpowered sometimes unfortunately
