I can't say for people in the USA, but here in the UK, it's obvious that UNDERTALE is more popular than FNAF. When I went to the UNDERTALE meet at Comic con in May, I saw thousands of people cosplaying as the characters (including myself) meanwhile I saw only about four people cosplaying as FNAF characters. Therefore, UNDERTALE is better.
(plus, UNDERTALE has Mettaton EX, that is all. XD)
