I didn't like the Alpha kids much at first. They felt like cheap knockoffs of the original kids. D: But they're really growing on me!
This is the first time I've drawn all the kids together... I've been meaning to do that for ages...
I'm probably going to do a properly coloured version of this later, but I wanted to mess around with computer colouring, so here!

AND YES! asiodbobgd Not only did she see Rose but she saw a whole bunch of the other dead and sleeping characters (INCLUDING A DEAD GOD TIER KARKAT!! I hope he's from a dud timeline and that doesn't mean that Karkat actually dies... >.>) which means that the alpha kids will possibly meet the dead characters... I hope so, because I REALLY want Dirk to meet Equius.
Ayup, I'm all caught up! 
AND THE VRISKA TROLL! She totally confused me... at first I was sure UU was one of the troll ancestors (possibly Nepeta's ancestor, because she has Karkat's ancestor's symbol on her Nepeta-coloured green sleeves, and she seems to have a shipping obsession as well) but then we saw her horns and they don't really look like any of the ancestors' horns, especially not Nepeta's ancestor... but then Vriska-girl shows up! You're right, she doesn't really seem like Mindfang (too nice-looking!) not to mention she has Karkat's ancestor's symbol around her neck... and I'm pretty sure the whole Sufferer thing didn't happen until the ancestors became, well, the ancestors- the first time around, when the ancestors played the game themselves, Karkat's ancestor's symbol wouldn't have been important, right? SO CONFUSING! (I did love her meeting Jake, though. I kind of wanted Jake to meet Vriska (he loves blue girls and spider girls... VRISKA) but this works, too.
I'm pretty sure the Condesce (Feferi's ancestor) IS the Batterwitch... (the fact that the new Betty Crocker symbol and the Empress' symbol are the same pretty much seals it...) which means that she's controlling Earth AND the alpha kids' session... SCARY!

Oh, yeah I know! That was totally radical! I´ve read a theory that it might not have been a godtier Karkat but the Sufferer. But I dunno it sounds weird since he was with Aradiabots right? so I think it really was a doomed timeline Karkat.

It also occured to me that he was wearing the Hero of Blood God Tier outfit, and it's unlikely that Karkat and the Sufferer were both heroes of blood, considering the Beta and Alpha kids don't have the same elements...

I think that's the whole point of HS. And it's why I love it so much.

SHE MIGHT! Someone mentioned that maybe all the ancestors are, like, reverse versions of the original trolls: all the mean trolls have super-nice ancestors and all the nice trolls have mean ancestors. (So far cruel Vriska has a nerdy, friendly-looking maybe-ancestor, and cute, nice Feferi has a mean, punk maybe-ancestors... I think it would be hilarious to see a cruel Tavros-ancestor...)
The punk-condesce troll also has crazy hair like the Condescension herself.

I was reading a Homestuck headcanons blog and it's crazy how many people suspected really far-fetched theories that ended up being true! Like alternate-session Granpa Harley being Jade's penpal, long before Jake was even introduced... HS has smart fans.
Well, if they are the ancestors, they're ancestors from an alternate Alternia (haha) that isn't nearly so violent, so they won't be exactly the same.
Pffft, Hussie is already a character in the story! He doesn't need to talk through UU and uu.
A lot of people seem to think that UU and uu combined into one person in the scratched session and became the Signless... but I think it's pretty much confirmed by this point that UU and uu are in a two-player session, meaning that it's NOT the ancestors twelve-person session... and the way they talk about their planet, it sounds like a post-apocalyptic waste-land... so maybe they're from the same universe as the original trolls, but entered a completely seperate session of their own (there was no rule anywhere that each planet could only create one session, right?) long after the meteor shower has destroyed most of the planet... after all, the troll planet did have two frog temples, making it seem like there might possibly be two sessions stemming from the same planet... right?
Does seem too simplistic. HS characters are pretty three-dimensional; they're not just "good" or "bad", so, yeah, that's oversimplifying.
Still. It would be interesting.
I'm so eager to see dead-maybe-Tavros-ancestor~ Because I love Tavros and Rufio/Summoner and and and... I want to see what he looks like! (Even though he might not have his cool hair... since the maybe-Condesce has different hair from adult Condesce, so...)

Yeah, I know they should be alternate versions of the ancestors. No wait! They shouldn´t be alternate versions of the ancestors. They should be just young versions of them - well at least if we consider the alpha/beta kids They´re pretty much the same, just switched. So the trolls should be the same unless the scratch worked differently for them. Wait, did Karkat make 24 grubs during their reckoning or just 12? I can´t remember >_>

I´m still not entirely convinced that UU and uu are separate trolls, but if I had to choose I´d say that they are two different trolls in their own session. The idea of the post apocalyptic Alternia sounds intersting and yes, I think it´s possible to have multiple sessions stemming form one planet (though it was argued if only one can succeed or if all can) I am not sure about the two temples, but it´s possible (I just can´t remember right now) If there were indeed two temples then it must mean something! and your theory is a good one

Dude, yes, it's crazy. Sometimes when I read really detailed, well thought-out headcanons, I feel like I'm reading a spoiler for something that hasn't even happened yet...
I'm pretty sure the scratch works the same for both sessions, so basically the dead trolls would be like the beta kids, and the original trolls we know and love would be like the alpha kids. (I don't think it was ever specified how many grubs Karkat made, since he "doesn't want to talk about it". It's assumed that he made 24 grubs for a 12-player session, just like John made 8 babies for a 4-player session...)
Well, UU was talking about how she had to get her co-player into the game, and it seems like uu is that co-player, so... I'm not sure why people think they're the same troll. They seem like two pretty distinct people to me.
I'm 100% sure there were two frog temples on Alternia... the one Kanaya lived by, and the one Aradia was desecrating... I'm still curious how and if that's going to be important...

... Uhhh... not sure if I understand your equations, but...
Basically, the trolls universe existed once, and in that universe Karkat and Tavros and Vriska and everyone would have been the ancestors (which we never saw and probably never will), while Aranea and Meenah and the rest of those kids were the ones playing the game.
Then they caused a scratch (and all died, I guess, but never stopped existing in the dream bubbles, which is why everyone's meeting them now).
Their scratch created the version of Alternia that we saw in act 5, where Aranea (now Mindfang) and Meenah (now the Condesce) are the ancestors and Karkat, Vriska, Tavros, etc. are the kids playing the game...
I THINK THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. I guess. Or something. orz (I love that young!maybe!Mindfang anf young!maybe!Condesce have names now!
I hope it's important! Because, like... the trolls thought they would have two seperate teams playing the game (the blue and red teams), one for each temple... but then they only ended up using one, right? The one on Kanaya's planet... soo.... I hope the second one becomes important!
Well, apparently Jade and John do visit dream bubbles, so I still have my fingers crossed for Tavros! (And it's back to Terezi now... and we saw a bit of Vriska... man. Everything about Vriska just fills me with SO MANY EMOTIONS. She's just such an amazing character... the fact that she still wanted to keep FLARPing with Terezi and Tavros after their accidents... and was all prepared to compensated for their disabilities and stuff, even if she was still being a huge jerk about it... I dunno, that just made me really... sad? 
I... dunno. I think what John said was totally legit, and I've been thinking about it a lot, too. I mean, everything that happened to them was just ONE DAY. How much can you really know about a person in one day, even a day as huge and dramatic as the one they lived? John basically said EVERYTHING I WAS THINKING... wondering if Dave and Rose are going to be better friends with the trolls than with them by the time they get there... it's sad, but true... D:

The fact that the day was so intense and jam-packed probably means they had even LESS of a chance of developping a real relationship... I mean, sure, they talked a lot, but it was all frantic and tied in with a lot of emotions and stuff and... I don't know. I still think John has a really good point, and I'm glad Hussie actually mentioned it instead of just ignoring the issue like I thought he would. (Though it looks like I might have to wait a while to see Tav or young!Summoner... the intermission's gonna end on the 13th and it'll probably go back to the Alpha kids...)

Well, yeah, dream bubbles aren't the same thing as dream selves... since they only started dreaming in the dream bubbles when their dream selves died or they became their dream selves.... since the kids are God Tier they ARE their dream selves now, they don't have dream selves.... and the trolls' dream selves are dead... so dream bubbles are kind of like regular dreams... just with horrorterrors and dead friends.
