You won't get shots like that after you've moved to Wichita Falls.

lol see that is teh thing! Everyone thinks Denver is, but it isn't! We do get snow but it melts teh next day. Out weather is unique, we sit in a pocket, and in the winter we get the Chinook winds which warm us, our temps here are often close to 70 in January

Excellent capture of this stunning scene, John. Personally I would have use a bit more contrast and the purple tones would be a bit more in the blue direction - but that's just my taste.

Absolutely gorgeous John! One of the nicest photos I've seen in a long time.
Love the colour and the beautiful ambience created by the light, there is something really tangible or visceral about this. You really feel as though you're there.

Pleasure And you always inject that kind of feeling into your photos, that's one thing I particularly love about them. The wide angle viewpoints always make me feel as though I'm standing in the scene.

The blue and the yellow contrast beautifully. The composition is very calm and serene, it's almost abstract

John, you nailed it with this one. Looks like minimal processing was applied, which is great. I love the deep orange right next to the shadowy blues. The composition is solid and you've presented the layers and sunrays beautifully.
