Description
The Tree Of LifeFor once, I am going to say much about this shot and just let the song lyrics below speak to the message I am trying to convey with this photograph.
---John
Tanya Tucker-Strong Enough To Bend
There's a tree out in the backyard
That never has been broken by the wind
And the reason its still standing
It was strong enough to bend
For years, we have stayed together
As lovers and as friends
What we have will last forever
If we're strong enough to bend
When you say something that you can't take back
Big wind blows and you hear a little crack
When you say "Hey well I might be wrong"
You can sway with the wind till the storm is gone
Sway with the wind till the storm is gone
Like a tree out in the backyard
That never has been broken by the wind
Our love will last forever
If we're strong enough to bend
When you start thinkin' that you know it all
Big wind blows and a branch will fall
When you say "Hey this job takes two"
We can sway with the wind till the skies turn blue
Sway with the wind till the skies turn blue
Like a tree out in the backyard
That never has been broken by the wind
Our love will last forever if we're strong enough to bend
Our love will last forever if we're strong enough to bend.

I have heard of here name, I just don't know what kind of music she plays. Considering that I listen to bands like Wolves in the Throne Room and Iced Earth.... definitely NOTHING mainstream for me

lol I listen to everything all over the spectrum, though my love lies in rockabilly and psychobilly, from Charlie Feathers & Jack Baymoore, to Tiger Army, to The Nekromantix & The Cramps.
Play it loud! [link]

The ominous cloud in the background add so much to this image- especially to the right of the tree where it looks like it is raining. I do like the concept to this piece, as the tree is mixed with leaves and bare branches. It fits very nicely with the lyrics.

I like 'your tree' and the sky's colors are quite interesting! Was it raining in the background?... a little bit to the right (in the right side of the tree)...

This is really nice, John. I like how the sky becomes more darker. It makes it more like a dreamy state. I like it.
