Is that historically accurate? I'm asking because all this cord on the outside... looks mighty pretty, but seems like it's really easy to just cut trough the cord a few times and, say, get rid of the shoulder guard. Not in a duel maybe, but on a battlefield where cuts and blows can come from any direction?
So, is the rule of cool in effect here? I'm quite alright if it is, just curious.
Anyway, looks like a lot of work, and the result is mighty fine.
