Thank you! I started with the pencil sketch of the trunk, then used warm grey Copic markers to add the layers of leaves.

So they were markers.. Hm.. have aint heared about "Copic markers" - it's a Brand or some technology name?

Can I use this for my wedding invitations? I'll keep your credits at the bottom. Please, please. Our five year anniversary quickly approaches and I'm planning a surprise wedding ceremony. Long story short, we never had a formal wedding five years ago. This would be the perfect backdrop for the invites as it will be an outdoor wedding in the trees and our totem or logo is a tree carved-like heart with our initials.

i seriously dig this. i kinda want to put a haiku in the dead space under the branches, it would read:
"Tree with leaves and shit,
sits there, all like, suck my dick
I'm a fucking tree."
