Why does she treat her incredible power like a curse? Because it works like a drug. Using it is tempting, and the devastation it can bring feels so good... until it feels so bad. After too many disasters, she doesn't even risk toeing the line for the thrill her power brings, shouldering the cruel withdrawal for the sake of all around her.
