Description
I decided recently while working on another project to redesign Shazam/Captain Marvel. I've gone with a more Superman look here because after reading Superman & Shazam: First Thunder and watching Superman & Shazam: The Return of Black Adam, it was made pretty clear that Billy Batson really idolized Superman before he got his powers. I decided to go with this design to show off the fact that even other heroes look up to Superman to find inspiration to do whats right. Kept the color scheme, changed the gauntlets(slightly) and the "belt". Because Shazam has a lightning bolt symbol and his name starts with the letter "S", I went with the old Electric Superman logo from the 90's(plus I just really wanted to revive that logo)Related content

Shazam shouldn't have the shield. That's Superman. Not Shazam. I understand it's a redesign but it looks more like a miscolored Supes design.

Well when shazam was first created the creator of superman tried to sue the creators of shazam for trying to steal their idea and how shazam looked to much like superman

I like the idea that Billy was influenced by Superman. I really like this design, but I wish you would have kept the lapel with the single button. I love that look. I think maybe the symbol should look a little more like the original lightning bolt, the 90's electric "s" shield makes the outfit look a little "Mon-El"-ish. Still, I love this design.

thanks for the comment and the critique. I see what you mean by it looking "Mon-El"-ish. I originally had the lapel and the button, but I didn't think it worked with the larger "S" symbol.
