Description
Concept art for my animated graduating film. The story follows a girl through her own nightmare in which a monster is constantly chasing her. The monster is really her own subconscious.Anywho I've been studying some horror movie films lately to try to capture that mood/lighting.
Also my first attempt at drawing an interior!! even though it really only consists of some stairs and hand rails. oh well.

This time he said "Lets play a game"
I turned away and fled
"Oh good you know just how to play.
I chase you till you're dead!"

ive seen ALOT and i mean ALOT of alien and creature concepts and animals but not one has scared me like this thing if i saw this thing aproaching me i would....be very afraid... very VERY nice

I love the secondary creepiness of the external muscles. They're a kind of nagging background wrongness while your attention is grabbed by the mask.

the lightin can be changed to make it even creepier and unnerving..though i do notknow exactly how >< not mucho f a help sorrie but to even draw this is already wow. so yays^^

Great job! I love the shadows and lighting, the color is also very appropriate for the mood.
Have you ever seen or read Gerald Broms' work? He's a horror fantasy artist, anyway, this reminds me a bit of his style of monster, especially those from the Plucker.
