I always found that work in progress has something charming about itself.I can't rally put my finger on it, but I like unfinished drawings a lot. They tell you how an artist works.
Anyway, here we go. Fan Art.
Kratos of "God of War". That's Lara Croft for girls with a lot more blood
There are still lots of mistakes I'll correct if I don't forget to.

Yeah, I used to be like that. I'd always start with the eyes and do everything in great detail, but that method sucks when it comes to proportions... now I always start with some lines for dividing the picture in "sectors" and I try to get the overall impression right before going into detail ^^

Yea, it's a smart move ^_^ .. Really gives you a good overview on how the picture "can" look. Just need some imagination to fill it with detalies afterwords ^_^.. Guess I should teach myself this

It's really better. I used to be like: "Haw, I like the eyes / mouth / nose / back / etc. in this picture, but somehow it just doesn't look right."
With the new method, you're always on the safe side ^^
