V3.1.1 is release. This version is a minor but really needed update, I've remade the scripts for tilesets and maps to work better, now the game will be working better and with more fps than before, also I've added as a little feature a modification to theΒ Xtransceiver script, now you can use variables as names (for rivals for example) using \\v[variable].Before update, make sure you've saved in a .txt or something your Xtransceiver conversations because the update will modify the scripts.

*Remade Spriteset_Map script for work better.
*Remade CustomTilemap script for work better.
*Added function for show variables as name in Xtransceiver.
I'm sure the kit will still have bugs that nobody has found yet, betatesters did an amazing work but we're humans! I've fixed most of the known bugs (or that's what I think, I've looked too much things and maybe I forgot something but I don't think so), and added the new functions. If you find a bug, report it please.

OK, I actually managed to figure out how to resize them, thought the Pokèmon world tournament NPC sprites that only have the standing forward facing frame and side view frames, but no back facing sprites, I want to use the red sprite for  the players character so will have to try to copy the front facing frame and edit it for the other walking frames, and also the back sprites.

Would it be alright if I could use the tiles that are in BW 3.1.1 for a game that I'm working on (i.e. the Black/White tilesets)? I've already started making a fan-game but the problem is is that if I switch over to BW 3.1.1, I would have to re-do all the stuff I've been working on, which I'm not in the mood to do since I've spent 10 hours working on the project already. Also, no worries, I will give credit to you for creating the tilesets.
BTW, you've done a great job with what you made, keep it up!

Thank you so much for this, I plan on using this for a mini Pokemon game project I want to do - I'm not super familiar with Pokemon Essentials yet but I'm playing through this kit right now hoping that it's still simple enough to use and that it's similar enough to the regular Pokemon Essentials kit. I found a very tiny bug in the Pokemon centre where the player can go up to the second floor and walk through and on the wall behind Nurse Joy. I know it's an easy fix but thought it might be handy to know.

Sadly I've run across a problem that seems to be exclusive to Pokemon Essentials BW. Using pbDoubleTrainerBattle gives me this error, for instance:

Thanks a bunch! I've made a compromise by treating one trainer as two just by making their pictures have two people and turning it into a double battle for now.
There are a few minor glitches but I'm not sure if it's part of the kit or just my doing. I'm getting my game tested by friends now and working on seeing if I can find a solution to the other glitches first. Otherwise the game is pretty much playable, so thank you for providing this kit and I hope it pleases you to know you've helped a person make their very own game!

I think Luka S.J. added Safari Zone support in his EBS kit, but I don't know how easy it is to adapt his kit.

I switched from the BW tiles to the default FRLG tiles by copying and pasting the tilesets.rxdata and the graphics, but now the autotiles are messed up, no matter what I switch them to in the database, the autotiles always show as the wrong autotile, and I think it's always the same one even if it is not one of the 7 autotiles I have on the tileset. Obviously I cannot find anything like this online; do you think this is a bug of Essentials BW? I don't have any other scripts added and I'm really confused. Can you help me?

I forgot I asked this, but I figured it out! The autotiles match the season, and I had the seasons have different autotiles, so the autotiles matched the season even if the tiles matched what I wanted. Just something for others to look for!

I've noticed in my absence a couple people have compiled tilesets without doing proper credits to the work of mine and other people so I'm trying to get on top of it and sort it all out :/

Yeah I see, I always try to give credits but sometimes is difficult because that; people making tilesets and only wanting credits to herselfs without any mention to the one who did the tiles.

Actually I solve the problem.
For some reason my Animations are reseted, so, when I change pokemon, look at party screen or call back ive got the error.

This can be happening because the Essentials BW doesn't have the same pockets that Essentials, you have to modify the items.txt or add more pockets
