Updated 22/9/15I've fixed a bug with event graphic changes (reported by Manuxd789 )
Lot of people asked me about how to use the Essentials BW's water bubbles in their own non-Essentials BW projects so I did this script. Configure the terrain tag where you want the bubbles to be displayed and done! I've include two pictures for the bubbles animation, you should put the pictures in Graphics folder. I've ripped the GBA style one but the 5 Gen one is ripped by Zenionith so if you use it, you should give credits to him.

How to install
Place the script in "script.txt" before main and "water.png" in Pictures folder. If you want to use the GBA styled, don't need to place the "water.png" picture, just the "waterGBA.png". Make sure you rename it to "water.png".
How to use
By default, water bubbles are showed in terrain tag number 16, you can change it modifying "WATERRAINTAG".
Invisible events will not have effect for water bubbles. Also, if you name add "/nowater/" to an event name, it will not have water bubbles too.

hello, how can you upgrade to V17.2? I really liked this script I used it in the v16 version but I tried to put it in V17.2 and always the error.

Yeh, too bad KleinStudio has been away for a while. V17 changed a few things and many of his scripts like Unlimited Autotiles and Waterbubbles are not working anymore. I'm struggling to fix some of them, but my knowledge is not yet enough.

Copy the script inside the script.txt file and paste it in a new script before the script named main

And also, how can i add more terrain tags to rpg maker xp? Mine can only go up to 7, and your "shallow water" terrain tag is 16. can you leave a link on how to do it?

Yeah, like that.
For terrain tags up to 7 you need to use the Editor included with PokΓ©mon Essentials or the debug menu pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiβ¦
Btw I see you're using my Essentials BW, the kit has already this script included (KleinWaterBubbles)

Like in Pokemon games where you walk on grass and it covers about 33% of the character. I'd assume it works like this bubble script, but it just needs to active slower.

Another awesome script I did notice that it doesn't seem to work with Dependent Events though. Not sure if it was just an oversight or a problem on my end, since I have made changes to dependent events in my game. Definitely will be using this though!
I have a question about the footprints script also but I'll message you about that!

Yeah⦠My follower doesn't have an animation. It might work with regular essentials though! It's very possible it is my other scripts that mess it up. Just wanted to let you know in case it isn't just me And never mind about the footstep thing. I made a stupid mistake lol

Yep, I don't know why Essentials doesn't include this by default, like the footprints, it's something that make the game looks much more official.

Footprints and this are so easy to add to the kit... It's not a work of months... I'm not saying Essential's is not good for don't have these things.

I'm very well aware. It takes like 6 lines of code to add in terrain sounds, like walking on grass or concrete like in BWB2W2. I was merely saying that essentials has a lot of bugs and quirks, so when I work on my project on it I spend a good chunk of time fixing the things that are not right with the native code.Β

Haha yeah. It's the little things that can be a big headache, like I am still trying to play around with dependent events and event manipulation. The more "complex" things rather have been seemingly easy for me. Mystery Gift, file reading and writing, internet connection checks, 3d parallax etc. Funny how that works.
