Description
The Suicide's Argument:Ere the birth of my life, if I wished it or no
No question was asked me--it could not be so !
If the life was the question, a thing sent to try
And to live on be YES; what can NO be ? to die.
NATURE'S ANSWER
Is't returned, as 'twas sent ? Is't no worse for the wear ?
Think first, what you ARE ! Call to mind what you WERE !
I gave you innocence, I gave you hope,
Gave health, and genius, and an ample scope,
Return you me guilt, lethargy, despair ?
Make out the invent'ry ; inspect, compare !
Then die--if die you dare !
(Samuel Coleridge)

i love how simple yet strong it is, also it appears if the person is saluting, as to say, we had a good run life, but time to move on...is this just what my eyes tell me to see or did you intend for it to look that way?
p.s. you chose a great poem to attach to the picture, just like to say well done, and thank you! Ive never read any of his work until i came across this picture, so in a way, thank you for introducing me to a new poet ^_^

Oh, I like this one alot ^^
The tree reminds me of a sketch I did some time ago in my sketchbooks with a pencil-brush, it's quite funny. I'll try to retrieve it and post it someday.
